So our Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have also started the facility and freedom to passengers to book or reserve their train or railway ticket online through Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Official Portal, you can directly navigate to Official online portal of IRCTC from your browser and get your Indian Railway Ticket Online Reserved, this registration process to get your Indian Railway Traveling Ticket is very easy and can be booked from anywhere. We will introduce to you and will also make familiar on how to book or reserve your Indian Railway Traveling eTicket.
- Go to https://www.irctc.co.in
- Register an account with a valid email id
- Confirm your account by entering the confirmation code which will be sent to you on your mobile number.
- And then activate the account by clicking on the link which you will receive on your email id.
- After you login to your account, you will get a dashboard with options like Proceed For Booking/ Cancellation (Next Generation e-Ticketing website), Update Profile (Update Profile/ Change Password), and My Transactions (Print/Cancer/File TDR of your old transactions). So click on Proceed for Booking/ Cancellation (Next Generation e-Ticketing website) to book your reservation of your Railway Ticket.
- Than in the next page you will have to enter From Station, to Station. Enter it than enter your Journey Date and click on submit.
- On clicking on submit you will get the list of available railways on that day, you can click on your preferred quota from General, Ladies and Tatkal. And then click on the class which you prefer to book your railway ticket from 2A, 3A or SL.
- After clicking on preferred class, it will show you the fare and then you can click on the preferred date on which you want to travel by clicking Book Now button.
- On Click the Book Now button it will ask you to enter the details of the passenger who will be traveling, enter all their details and click on next.
- Then it will ask to select your Preferred Payment Method, some of the payment methods available are Net Banking, Payment Gateway/ Credit Card, Debit Card and Cash Card.
- You will have to make payment by selecting these options and make the payment and then you ticket will be successfully booked you can even print the ticket for further reference to show it to TC (Ticket collector) on the Railway or else you can also show the SMS which you have got on our mobile which was sent by IRCTC which was sent after booking your ticket as well as you can also show the ticket on your laptop or on your mobile.
